Associate professors Claire Connolly Knox and Chris Emrich were both interview by reporters at radio station 90.7 WMFE about topics related to Hurricane Irma. Prior to the storm hitting Florida, Knox was interviewed by Matthew Peddie about the potential impact of Irma and emergency response to these types of natural disasters. Alan Harris, the emergency management director for Seminole County and chair of the emergency management advisory board, was also interviewed.
Following Irma’s impact, Emrich was interviewed by Brendan Byrne about the protection of Florida’s power grid.
