Partnership to Bring Center for Justice and Ethics to UCF
By Ashley White, Central Florida Future
The Burnett Honors College and the College of Health and Public Affairs are collaborating to build a Center for Justice and Ethics. Private funding is being collected for the $3.5-million project that will feature a courtroom, classrooms, conference room and additional faculty offices.
“The center will feature a ceremonial courtroom, and we don’t have a facility like that on campus now,” said James Beckman, the legal studies department chair.
He said that a courtroom would help the legal studies department host a number of events and will also benefit the events that they already do on campus.
