A UCF GoBabyGo! team retrofitted toy cars Saturday, March 3, for three children with limited mobility. The team included UCF physical therapy students and two visiting speech-language pathology students from Belgium, where a GoBabyGo! initiative is now under way. See pictures here.
Bryer Named Fulbright Specialist
Professor Thomas Bryer has been named to the Fulbright Specialist Rooster for a three-year period beginning Feb. 16, 2018. He is now eligible to be matched with projects designed by host institutions in over 150 countries globally. Learn more about the Fulbright Specialist program.

The 2018 UCF Taiwan Study Abroad Program is open for students interested in health or related fields. This three-credit program will introduce students to issues related to Asian culture, health care and aging society, while exposing them to the island’s cuisine and culture. Ehrens in Hong Kong
Professor Barbara Ehren and Clinical Instructor Tom Ehren traveled to Hong Kong this month to work with leaders of its Speech and Hearing Services Section (photo). The section launched a partnership with Barbara Ehren 10 years ago to improve speech-language pathology services in Hong Kong schools. “Now they have many SLPs in secondary schools,” she said. “What a joy it is to work with them and see them progress so substantially. They are serious about offering state-of-the-art speech-language services to children and adolescents.”
