The UCF Athletic Training Program is transitioning to a master’s degree in 2019.

If you are seeking admission to the final BS cohort, you must be admitted to UCF no later than the Summer 2018 term.
Your application to the BS program must be received no later than March 1, 2018.

Over the past several years, the leaders of the athletic training profession assessed the question of what is the best degree level to educate future athletic trainers. The Strategic Alliance (NATA, BOC, CAATE and NATA Foundation) determined that the master’s degree would provide the best preparation for future athletic trainers. For more information on this change, and the rationale for the decision, please go to www.nata.org/strategic-alliance-degree-statement.
