Nonprofit Management Minor/American Humanics National Certification Program

The American Humanics minor provides interdisciplinary classroom experience and experiential learning opportunities for students planning a career as a nonprofit professional. Students who complete the program requirements will receive a minor and a national certification in the American Humanics academic program.
The course requirements are as follows:
- American Humanics Human Service Workshop
- American Humanics Internship
- PAD 4144: Nonprofit Organizations
Coursework with the following emphases:
- General Nonprofit Management, Volunteerism, and Human Development
- Planning & Evaluation and Human Resource Development
- Communication and Marketing
- Nonprofit Accounting & Financial Management and Fundraising Principles & Practices
Other Requirements:
- Enrollment in American Humanics Certificate Program
- Attendance at one national American Humanics Management Institute (additional fees)
- Membership in UCF American Humanics Student Association (AHSA)
