Welcome to the Department of Public Administration at the University of Central Florida. We are located on the second floor of the Health and Public Affairs building II. The Department of Public Administration offers a variety of degree and certificate programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our programs have a well-designed curriculum to support your academic development and achievement.
Our professors are excellent instructors and researchers in the fields of local government management and nonprofit management. The faculty and support staff of the Department of Public Administration bring together a wide diversity of experience and skills for the benefit of those who study and work in public and nonprofit service fields. We take a great deal of pride in our faculty publications, research, hands-on instruction, academic integrity and the personal attention we are able to provide for our students.
Department Highlights:
Education
- A nationally accredited Master in Public Administration that can be completed in 15 months (14 classes)
- A completely web-based Master of Nonprofit Management that can be completed in 12 months (11 classes).
- A graduate certificate in nonprofit management that is entirely web-based
- Graduate certificate courses in nonprofit management and urban planning that count toward an M.P.A.
