URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING

The Graduate Certificate in Urban and Regional Planning (URP) is designed to enhance knowledge, skills, and career development, in the field of community and urban and regional planning. Central Florida has been identified as one of the major growth areas in the state and planning has been recognized as one of the major policy issues for this area. Central Florida has seen considerable growth over the past few years, and this trend is expected to continue with a population explosion of approximately 130 percent within the next few years.

The URP certificate program curriculum consists of 15 credits. Students complete a core of four courses (12 credits) and one elective (3 credits)

Admission to the URP certificate program is completion of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
