Griset Contributes to Report on New York Sentencing Reform
Pamala Griset, associate professor of criminal justice, is the author of the first chapter in a final report published Jan. 30 by the New York State Commission on Sentencing Reform. Her chapter focuses on the history of sentencing in New York.

Alumna Jill Eck's Work in Crime Analysis Featured in News Article
Criminal justice alumna Jill Eck's work as a crime analyst for the Grand Prairie [Texas] Police Department is the subject of a feature article in Grand Prairie Today.
At UCF, she earned a B.S. in criminal justice and Undergraduate Certificates in Crime Analysis and Crime Mapping, Crime Scene Investigation, and Security Management in 2006 and an M.S. in criminal justice and a Graduate Certificate in Crime Analysis in 2007.

Potter Appointed to Positions in Professional Associations
Roberto Hugh Potter, professor and director of research in the Department of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Correctional Health Services Association and to the American Corrections Association's Education Committee. He also serves on the ACA's Health Care and Research Committees.
