Director Nancy Ellis Holds a Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida. She earned her M.S.W. from the University of Utah. She has extensive experience in policy, administration and clinical services for children and families. Previously, she worked as a lobbyist for the Utah State Legislature, chairperson for the Central Florida Unit of the Florida National Association of Social Workers and Florida Action for Healthy Kids, administrative coordinator of the Orange County Neighborhood Centers for Families and director of youth programs for the Winter Park Health Foundation. Ellis has been instrumental in the establishment of community-based mental health, substance abuse and family support services. She has chaired community action boards and presented widely in the areas of family counseling, community collaboration, children’s health programs and the Family Support Model.

Location and Directions
The Center for Community Partnerships is located in the Institute of Simulation and Training (IST) building in Research Park, adjacent to the University of Central Florida campus. From the intersection of University Blvd. and SR 434/Alafaya Trail, take SR 434/Alafaya Trail Research Parkway south to Research Parkway. Turn left on Research Parkway and continue to Progress Drive (located just before traffic light at Technology Parkway). Turn left on Progress Drive and continue to traffic circle; turn left just before traffic circle.
