Leadership Opportunities

Every UCF Alumni Association chapter and club is governed by alumni leadership. The COHPA chapters and clubs may currently be seeking alumni leaders to take an active role in the success of our discipline-based groups.

Chair - The Chair shall preside at all meetings of the club; attend meetings of the Alumni Associations Chapter and Club Council; serves as the spokesperson for the club; assure proper procedures; appoint all committees, and fill all vacancies of officer positions, should any occur, with the concurrence of a majority of the officers, and perform such other duties as the office shall require.

Vice Chair - The Vice Chair shall preside at meetings in the absence of the President and oversee and ensure the work of the special events and communications committees. The Vice President will also perform other duties as the office shall require.

Special Events Chair - The primary purpose of the Special Events Chair is to manage, publicize and facilitate club events. The Special Events Chair may designate a co-chair/s. The co-chair assists the chair in directing the work and may be given responsibility for overseeing specific sub-committees, at the direction of the chair.

Communications Chair - The primary purpose of the Communications Chair is to build and increase awareness of the club and its activities to members and the community at large. The Communications Chair shall keep a record of the minutes of the club meetings; notify members of the dates, times and places of meetings and activities and perform such other duties as the office shall require. The Communications Chair may designate a co-chair/s. The co-chair assists the chair promoting events/programs and may be given responsibility for overseeing specific sub-committees, at the direction of the chair.
