The College of Health and Public Affairs is engaged in community partnerships with organizations and agencies throughout the Central Florida region.
Partnerships take on many forms and include, but are not limited to:
community-based service, evaluation and research projects
conducted by faculty members and students
placement of students in the community through internships and service-learning courses
sponsorship by the college of events and activities
designed to inform and engage community members
The Department of Public Administration's Capacity Building Institute recently partnered with Hi-Tech Tutoring, Inc., in Orlando's Holden Heights Neighborhood, to assist the nonprofit with grant writing and fiscal management.
